Co-Founder

Lyna is engaged as a citizen on many fronts. She holds an academic hat, being lecturer and researcher on peacebuilding in Lebanon, as well as a a civic hat, being founding member and active volunteer with AFAAL, and finally she holds a political hat, being executive committee member at the National Bloc party. Lyna is a volunteer at heart – she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with her husband to raise funds for Heartbeat. After the August 4th catastrophe, she opened her home for child-to-child discussions around what had happened, to help them release some of their anxieties by sharing their experience with other peers. She dreams of building a platform to speak to Lebanese children about politics one day.
